WHAT WE DO
TOURING
We use inventive storytelling, physical theatre, clowning and circus to tell stories that have female heroes at their centre. We tour our high quality playful shows to theatres, community centres, village halls, festivals and events. We are Curve Resident Creatives and supported by Oxford Playhouse through their EVOLVE scheme.

PARTICIPATION
We work alongside young people to create shows so they reflect their point of view. The directors have been working with young people from different backgrounds for 15 years & have developed innovative practices in handing over the space for young people to express their concerns & hopes in creative, imaginative ways. Our work centres female heroes and provides alternative role models for young people to aspire to. We also run bespoke projects based on the needs of the organisation.

COMMISSIONS
We make shows for various settings for example we have previously made:
MEMORY MUSEUM: A playful promenade show in museums formed from local collected memories.
WALK ABOUT: Acts for various events.
A THEATRICAL DETOUR: A site-Specific show in which audiences meet characters from a town’s history along the route.
WHO WE ARE
We are an established female led company run by Co-Artistic Directors Hannah Stone and Ria Ashcroft who are both theatre making mums. We create contemporary, playful, high quality theatre which centres female heroes.
We make theatre that is relevant and responsive but has hope and change at its heart.
We tell stories that are rooted in the community, inspired by girl’s voices and that reach far and wide.
